About Silhouette Island in Seychelles

Exploring is literally the best Silhouette Island things to do, other than diving. Lascars and Grande Barbe are ideal diver’s spots, while some of the best hiking trails are from La Passe to Grand Barbe, Anse Mondon and climbing up Mont Dauban, which is the highest peak here. But the moniker of the mountain has a significance; to understand that you will have to know Seychelles Island history. From mid-19th century till 1960 at a stretch, the island of Silhouette was owned by the Dauban family, to whom the island owes much of its developments. It has now been transformed into a restaurant and has a mausoleum inside as the final resting place of many Dauban family members.

A little follow up should be done from travel triangle so that itinerary doesn't change as per wish of travel agent after commitment. 2. No proper guidance after selling package. Best travel destination for honeymoon couples. Seychelles is well known for white-sand beaches, tropical climate, and biodiversity. A must visit places - La Digue, Victoria, Anse Lazio, Beau Vallon, Tea Factory & Saint-Anne Marine National Park. Kunal along with Creole Seychelles service partner were very helpful and provided a really good arrangement for our accomodation. Staff at the Oasis hotel in Praslin & Berjaya in Mahe were very polite and available during the entire stay. We visited Praslin (3N), La Digue (1D) & Mahe (3N), both the locations were at the walking distance from the beach. Food & Water bottles at the hotel were expensive which made us explore reasonable restaurants/food outlets/Supermarkets outside our hotel. Overall the entire experience of the trip was amazing. Walks on the white sands of La Digue & Praslin. Beau Vallon beach view & Pizza from Sun Coco in Mahe.

Creole, English and French are the most widely spoken language in Seychelles. However, given that Silhouette is mostly a handful of hotels; the staffs are well versed in English for the convenience of the tourists.

No, Hilton is the only upscale hotel in Silhouette Island. There are two more resorts – one is La Belle Tortue which is a simple lodge near the pier and another is North Island Resort, an eco-tourism resort where you can stay the night.

There are lush green estates, private pools and beaches, spa services, activities like diving and hiking and different excursions conducted by the hotel for you.
