Gangtok is the city, which do not have an airport of its own, and so the travellers have to rely on Bagdodara airport, which is near Siliguri for travel. It is about 124 kilometres away from Gangtok. This is the airport which connects Sikkim with other major cities like Guwahati, Delhi and Kolkata in North India. International travellers can avail connection flights to reach Bagdogra airport from Delhi or Kolkata. Kolkata and Delhi airports are connected well with many major cities of India and also abroad. Nikhil helped organize a 7 N / 8 D trip to Darjeeling and Sikkim.. Was really well planned. The hotels were comfortable and food arrangements extremely good. Driver who took us along was an excellent guide. Good part was we were able to tweak the itinerary to couple of more areas whilst at Gangtok.
