Chinese Garden in Singapore

This garden was designed by Yuen -chen Yu who was an architect from Taiwan. He used Chinese gardening art to design the entire concept of this garden. Another striking feature of the garden is the bridge which is also made by getting inspired by the Summer Palace bridge in Peking. Main Arch Building is a picturesque place because of its grandiose form. It has two courtyards and a fishpond which is called fishes paradise. Stoneboat, tea house, pagoda, pavilion, plateau, tower are other striking features of this garden that makes it stand out. Pagoda gives you the picturesque view of the whole Chinese garden and also of the neighbouring Jurong lake and the Japanese garden.

Bonsai Garden is a collection of over 2000 bonsais that has been imported from China and many other countries. This is a must visit place in the Chinese garden.
