Best Places to do Snorkelling in Andaman

Elephant Beach, Havelock Island: This is the best place in Andaman to do snorkelling. The water here is calm, blue, crystal clear and shallow, which makes this the most favoured place for snorkelling. You can take a boat ride or can trek to the Elephant beach.
Margherita’s Mischief in Neil Bay Island, Port Blair: This is one of the most visited destinations in Port Blair. This place is famous among the adventure seekers as it provides option for various water sport activities. The corals here are spread over a large area. You will also see various types of fishes, lobsters, Dugongs, Angelfish, Soldier fish, Batfish, Yellow snappers, etc.
Jolly Bouy Island and Red Skin Island, Port Blair: Here, you will witness a variety of corals such as the red, blue, sponge corals, etc.
Barracuda City, Havelock Island: Apart from seeing a variety of colourful fishes and corals, you can also swim with the turtles here. However, this place is not suitable for the beginners.

The arrangements made were flawless, from the comfortable hotels to the excellent room services. The staff at each hotel were attentive, and the rooms were clean and well-maintained. One of the highlights of the trip was the food – delicious, with great variety at every stop. The only small downside was on the last day when we arrived just 10 minutes late to Chidiya Tapu Biological Park, and the gates had already closed. We wish the driver had informed us earlier, so we could have adjusted our schedule accordingly. Timely and Well-Maintained Cab Service: Our cab arrived on time, which helped us keep to our schedule efficiently. The vehicle provided was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. Excellent Drivers: The drivers assigned to us were exceptional in terms of communication, behavior, and navigation skills. They were respectful, reliable, and made us feel safe throughout our journey. Cons: Lack of Transparency About Hotel Quality (Sea Hills, Port Blair): Although we selected the hotel Sea Hills in Port Blair ourselves, the agent, being familiar with the area, could have advised us about its poor quality. It would have been helpful to receive her local insights, as we later found out that many of the positive Google reviews for this hotel were misleading. Inadequate Vehicle Choice: With a group of seven adults, including four senior citizens and one baby, the Ertiga provided felt cramped for longer drives. A more spacious vehicle, such as a Xylo, would have been ideal for comfort. Unfortunately, this was not considered, which led to some discomfort for our group. Poor Hotel Room Quality in Last Stay (Sea Hills, Port Blair): The room we received at Sea Hills was below standard, with limited space and a bed positioned against the wall, giving a cramped and budget feel. Considering our group size and needs, we had expected a higher-quality room.
