Before setting out on a journey around the city, grab a map of Botanical garden so that you can make your way around the place easily. However, there are also doubts regarding how to reach Peradeniya Botanical Garden. There are various ways you can reach the city of Kandy comfortably and conveniently.

By Car: You can rent a cab or hire a car to take you to the Royal Botanical gardens. The price should be decided before the ride. If you plan to go by car, make sure you have a map of the city with you on all times. Cabs can be booked at any time of the day but for hiring a car, you will have to visit the owner and sign a few papers of agreement regarding movement and petrol of the car.

Tuk-Tuks: If you are within the city of Kandy, the best mode of transport is the tuk-tuk. Before getting on it, agree upon a uniform price for the ride to avoid unnecessary conflicts.

By Train: The lengthy route to the Botanical Garden Kandy can also be covered by the trains that run intercity. The nearest railway station to the Botanical Garden is the Kandy railway station. These trains start at 5:55 am in the morning and run throughout the day.
