The former is used as an international and domestic airport and offers a nice last mile connectivity option to the city, including buses and taxis, making it easier to travel from India to Bangkok.
Being a famous tourist destination, Bangkok enjoys excellent connectivity with all the major cities in the world through its two highly developed airports. Offering direct flight options from prominent Indian cities such as Delhi to Bangkok, and Mumbai to Bangkok, one can easily cover the India to Bangkok distance of around 2410 kms in 4 to 5 hours. This city also boasts of two railway stations for local as well as inter-country traveling, and a very well-developed roadways system as well.

Biswajit's 6 days trip to BangkokI must say about our Thailand trip, a trip very well planned and delivered by Ananta tours ( Special Thanks to : Heamant Goel). All arrangements extended including stay, travel & site seeing was very nicely managed. We are highly satisfied with the arrangements excluding few parts like Ramada D'ma Hotel Bangkok was not at all cooperative. They denied for early checkin and kept us waiting for more then 3hours in the lobby despite of numerious request, finally they alloted the room with extra payment of 1000bhat only 1.5hour prior to checkin time(12.00P.M). And the Bangkok City tour was total crap. it was only 1.5hour trip and only covered 2 temple and the guide left us in between the trip asking she has to attend another tour groups. Otherwise Phuket arrangements were superb, we loved it. Kindly do check the issues before we could suggest Travel Triangle to our family and friends. Thank You.

Kannika's 8 days trip to BangkokWhile I was planning my trip, the agency was quite cordial and accepted to the number of changes we made. They also suggested a number of hotels and tours based on our request and we blindly trusted them and went ahead with the trip without any hassles. But there were certain instances where I felt they could have been better and could have reacted in a different way. 1st Instance : Phi Phi Island tour, Had the tour operator suggested and given options about the different boats available and given us the cost initially we would not have gotten a shock on reaching the place. It was quite upsetting to know that the package they had booked did not include many things where as the local operator suggested us to get an upgrade, to whom I am not sure we paid the exact amount or more than what the actual cost was. This was something I felt was not called for and I would have liked to know about the various boat types and cost differences in advance rather than getting a shock there. 2nd Instance: When we reached Krabi, we somehow asked the hotel reception if it was a 3 star or a 4-star hotel? We had specifically requested the tour operators for 4-star hotels in every place. But the hotel receptionist herself responded its a 3-star hotel. I would have ideally wanted my agency to do their research and make sure that they book a good hotel and not base their research on booking.com ratings. If we have to go with booking.com ratings than why would we even hire a tour agency. It is their sole responsibility to research everything well in advance and suggest good hotels and not say that it's a mutual decision between tour operators and customer and booking.com said its a 4 star. Ideally, it's the tour agency responsibility to call the property and enquire these details in advance. If the tour operators have suggested this hotel then we assume that they have done their research. Unfortunately, that was not the case and it was quite upsetting to know that the tour operators were not ready to accept their mistake and instead put the blame on us that even we accepted for the hotel. 3rd Instance: City Tours - What does a city tour mean - A tour that covers everything in the city at one go and does not mean fillers or tours to just while away time. That's exactly what the tour operators booked for us. City tours that cover only 2-3 things from the city. In Bangkok the 2-3 things that the city tour covers were not even in the the top things to cover of the city. The city tour booking could have been 100 times better. There was no tour operator that could even explain the history of the place and they would not even give us time to explore the place. Also, they took us to the most expensive sovenir stores stating that they are very good and very cheap. The good thing was the out of the 4 island trips that we had, it was very well arranged for the 3(Phi Phi, James Bond & Natural Spring &Emerald Pool) of them. The local agency did a great job and I would recommend that to everyone. Also, the pickup and drop off arranged from the airport to hotels and from one city to another was very well arranged by the local tour operators. For myself and my husband, the location of the hotels in Phuket and Krabi was brilliant. In Bangkok it was little in the local market area, could have been closer to the city but no complains about that. In terms of tour planning, from flights to pick up, everything was executed very well. I would like to give my special appreciation to Jai from Journey routers. He's been very patient and has planned the trip very well. He has answered all my queries at any time. Overall my experience could have been better and I really got a shock about the way the tour operators reacted. Anyway overall it was a memorable trip for me and my husband and we had a great time despite all the hiccups. I would like to thank the Travel Triangle team and Big Thank you to Journey Routers for their brilliant arrangments overall.
