By Air

Traveling to Bangkok by air is the most convenient option. Nonstop flights from India are the best and the quickest way to reach this Thai capital. There are more than 30 direct flights from India to Bangkok in a week, from many cities. Taking a nonstop flight from Delhi to Bangkok via SpiceJet, Jet Airways, and Air India is a good bet. The average flight duration from Delhi to Bangkok is a little more than 4 hours. The aerial distance from Delhi to Bangkok is about 2920 km.

Other cities that offer direct flight connectivity to Bangkok include Mumbai, Chennai, and Bangalore. All the flights have an approximate duration of almost 4 hours. The cheapest flights are available during the off-season, i.e., during the monsoon while during the holiday season the flight fares shoot up considerably. There are multiple online travel platforms that offer seamless flight booking services from India to Bangkok.

By Road

Reaching Bangkok by road can be very tedious. India to Bangkok distance by road is approximately 4419 km. The route starts from any Indian city to Kolkata – Myanmar - Thailand. The rules in Myanmar are quite strict, and one needs to have the visa and the MMT permit along with various other documents for traveling through Myanmar. This requires a little time, money and planning. In Thailand, the cities are well connected. There are many buses to Pattaya, Krabi, and other neighboring areas. The roads are well built and offer a pleasant traveling experience for the holidaymakers.

    • Trip to Bangkok

It was the first time I booked the package with travel triangle and the agent "Kingdom of Holdiays". Overall the trip was great. 1. The hotels were the best in Phuket, Krabi and Bangkok, but in Pattaya, it was worst. I wish the agent had recommended a better hotel there. 2. The private cabs which were allotted were good. 3. The itinerary was chosen by me and was executed by the agent well. 4. In Pattaya alone, a cab was not given as per the voucher. We faced so much difficulty in commuting. I wish the agent had recommended properly on this. 5. The agent had told me that there was no need to give island fee in 4 island tour and phi-phi tour, but in both places, I paid it. This was an extra expense. Apart from pattaya and island fee, everything went well. Thank you for an amazing trip "Travel Triangle" and "Kingdom of Holidays". Hope i get refund of island fee i paid.

    • Trip to Bangkok

We came to know about Travel Triangle through ads on facebook. It was the first time we availed services of Travel Triangle. It was for a trip to Thailand - Phuket, Pattaya and Bnagkok. *Pre Trip Services /Travel Triangle* On enquiry for quote for this trip we were expecting a single travel agent to give us quote but we were actually flooded with multiple quotes by multiple vendors of Travel Triangle. Advantage was that it made quotes comptetive to choose from. Disadvantage was multiple calls, mails, follow ups by several vendors made it irritating at one point. Finally we chose Delonix Travels. It provided decent quote but hurried up for payments. 100% payment was made in July for a trip in October citing it was a rule. But vouchers were given to us just 2 days before trip which actually scared us and made us follow them up repeatedly. Finally when the vouchers came just 2 days before the trip it had changes from the original itenerary which we were neither informed earlier nor did we have time to get it changed to original one just 2 days before trip. During the trip Despite our request neither the local travel agent nor Delonix nor Travel Triangle could help us, so that upset our plans and schedules. Also the chain system is so long that there is no single point or person to address all issues and everyone keeps asking to request this to other person. Ground support was via Whatsapp group but a first person responsible at the local site in Thailand would have been better like other travel agents normally have. Anyways, the support in Phuket particularly by Sayan Roy over whatsapp was really good. For Pattaya and Bangkok the support could have been much better. It is suggested to ask the vendors to not make so many follow ups just after sending quote. Also it is strongly suggested that when full payments are being taken so many months before trip then at least share all vouchers at least 10 days before trip that too without any last moment changes. *Hotels* Centara Marine Resort in Phuket was awesome. Huge premises with all facilities, prompt services, great rooms, good location and decent breakfast. Sunbeam Hotel in Pattaya was also Good in terms of room, services, location and breakfast. However, Woraburi Sukhumvit Hotel of Bangkok was poor in terms of room quality and services but breakfast and location was Ok. *Itenerary, activities and conveyances* Good itenerary. Handsome inclusions. Sightseeing coverage, activities coverage and time management was excellent. The Local tie up travel agents were good in their services. There was no dedicated tour guide in any location so at times we felt need of it but still it was well managed overall. As regards transfers, comfort level was good. Inland transfer in decent cars and speed boats. Thai Airways as Airlines was very good. *Food* Breakfast were included in Hotel and were decent. We had some of the Lunch included too in itenerary. Overall it was decent. Best lunch was in the day when we had Coral Island tour in Pattaya. Worst lunch was in James Bond island tour in Phuket, which most of the co-travellers were also complaining about. *Pricing* Cannot complain on pricing. The inclusions and quality at this price was the biggest plus point of the tour with Travel Triangle /Delonix. *Overall Experience* Satisfactory. Mixed of good and bad as stated above in details along with suggestions. Thanks. Phuket was the best part. Sayan Roy was good at coordinating things.

Our trip to Thailand was good and was planned by travel empire Mr Akash planned it well for us. In Thailand mr Rahul Khatana was our trip coordinator Must say he planned and organised everything so well and perfect Mr Shubham Pandya from travel triangle was our trip advisor who’s behaviour was not too good His response was poor and in fact he never would pick up our calls and had always lame excuses Before leaving for the vacation. We were a bit scared what if we face any problem and mr Shubham Pandey will not pick up the phone? Bangkok and Pattaya both are beautiful places

    • Trip to Bangkok

About the overall trip, it good except 3 points, 1)the Bangkok city tour:- While preparing the Itinerary agent mentioned only golden buddha tour. On that, I specifically asked him about the details over call, on that he replied its organized tour so mostly all points will be covered. So, I thought its ok and asked him to add details, on that he added 2 more destinations 1 gemstone gallery and another temple. If you want to go to another country, then we expect not all but at least all the main tourist places to see. But as my Itinerary it was not there. we missed all the main points. I asked the cab driver to drop me at last temple and from there I went on my own and visited the remaining places which coasted me almost 2000 THB. the only good place was in the city tour was Golden Buddha rest all useless. When contacted agent he straight forward refused as he doesn't remember his commitment. So, my suggestion to get everything in writing don’t believe everything they say . 2) Any upgrade u need is very costly.:- In my itinerary, it was mentioned longboat for island tours. On the third island tour, I thought to get that upgraded to Speed boat as there was not much difference when I enquired locally. It was hardly 250THB per person but when I checked with local coordinator, they were asking me 800TBH per person and speed boat package itself was for 1250THB . 3)Cab drivers could not speak English. Even its mentioned English-speaking drivers. Now Good part:- Co-ordination and communication was up to the mark never faced any issue. Whenever contacted on whats app got immidiate reply.
