How to Reach Patong Beach in Phuket

The Patong Beach nearest airport is Phuket airport and from there, it is best to take a direct cab from the airport itself. There are no direct buses to Patong Beach and the only bus route is to take a cab to Phuket Town and take a bus to Patong Beach. Taking a Phuket airport minibus will also do the trick. The distance from Phuket airport to Patong Beach is roughly forty kilometers and takes about an hour to travel. The usual minibus fare is 150 baht and the usual taxi fare is 550 baht. If the taxi to bus route seems more appealing, one should note that it saves 350 baht but takes over two hours.
