5 Sightseeing Places in Phuket

Phuket has more than just beaches—it's packed with lively streets, calm spots, and unique attractions that suit every kind of traveller. Here’s a quick look at some must-see sightseeing places in Phuket and tourist points in Phuket that offer fun, views, and a touch of local life.

Bangla Road

Bangla Road in Patong comes alive after sunset with music, lights, and street shows. You’ll find bars, nightclubs, souvenir stalls, and late-night food like mango sticky rice or grilled seafood. It’s one of the famous tourist points in Phuket for nightlife. The street is always buzzing, so go with comfy shoes and an open mind.

Tiger Kingdom Phuket

Located near Kathu, Tiger Kingdom lets you see tigers up close — from cubs to big cats. You can take photos inside the enclosures under staff supervision. While it’s a popular tourist spot in Phuket, it’s best to check timings early to avoid rush. There’s also a café inside serving basic Thai snacks.

Kata Noi Beach

Quieter than Patong, Kata Noi Beach is great for swimming and sunbathing. The waves here are gentle, and the water stays clean most of the year. There are a few small local food stalls around, selling pad Thai and coconut water. It’s a relaxing sightseeing place in Phuket if you want peace and sunset views.

Phuket Trickeye Museum

This 3D art museum in Phuket Town is full of wall paintings where you can pose and click fun photos. Each artwork is designed to look real in pictures — great for kids and groups. It’s indoors, so it’s a good pick during rainy days. Allow 1–2 hours and don’t forget to bring your camera!

Ao Sane Beach

Ao Sane is a small beach near Nai Harn, known for snorkelling and quiet vibes. You’ll see coral rocks and colourful fish right near the shore. There’s one family-run shack offering fried rice, fresh juices, and beach chairs. It’s not crowded and feels more local than most places.

Top 10 Attractions in Phuket

Phuket Elephant Sanctuary

This place lets you watch elephants roam free in a natural forest setting. No rides or shows—just rescued elephants being cared for. Visitors can walk alongside them, help feed them, and learn about ethical tourism. It’s one of the most famous places in Phuket for animal lovers.

Sirinat National Park

Located near the airport, this park has peaceful beaches, a mangrove forest, and walking trails. Nai Yang Beach inside the park is perfect for spotting baby turtles during nesting season. A great break from the crowded areas and a quiet tourist attraction in Phuket.

Promthep Cape

Known for having the best sunset views in Phuket, this cliff point is often full by evening. You can also see a small lighthouse museum nearby. Local stalls sell coconut ice cream and small souvenirs—it’s great for photos and a short scenic stop.

Baan Teelanka (Upside Down House)

Everything in this quirky house is flipped—furniture on the ceiling, floors above your head. It’s fun for families and good for photos. There’s also a garden maze and escape room outside. One of the more unusual tourist points in Phuket.

Coral Island (Koh Hae)

Just 15-20 minutes by speedboat from Phuket, this small island has clear water and coral reefs close to the shore. Great for snorkelling, banana boat rides, or just sunbathing. You’ll find small beach cafés serving fresh seafood and coconut water.

Laem Singh Viewpoint

Though the beach below is now harder to access, the viewpoint still gives a wide-angle view of Phuket’s west coast. Stop here on the way between Kamala and Surin beaches. Locals often come here with chai and snacks to catch the sunset.

Jui Tui Shrine

This bright red Chinese temple is active during the Phuket Vegetarian Festival. You’ll see drums, incense smoke, and symbols of Chinese deities. The temple is simple but lively—many locals come here for blessings before big decisions.

Rawai Seafood Market

Pick your own fresh seafood—crabs, squid, fish—and have it cooked at one of the nearby restaurants. It’s a very local experience. Best to visit before 6 PM for a good variety. A must-visit if you’re hungry and want to try Phuket’s coastal flavours.

Phuket Aquarium

Located at the end of Cape Panwa, this small but informative aquarium is good for kids. It showcases fish found in the Andaman Sea and includes a tunnel tank you walk through. Not crowded and good for a slow afternoon.

Freedom Beach

Tucked between Patong and Karon, this beach is peaceful, clean, and not crowded. You’ll need to walk down a steep trail or take a longtail boat. No loud water sports—just swimming, sunbathing, and local fruit sellers with fresh juice. One of the quieter, famous places in Phuket.

Phuket is more than just beaches; think island hopping, fresh seafood at local markets, quiet viewpoints, and cultural spots tucked between it all. If you’re planning a trip, the best places to visit in Phuket offer a mix of nature, adventure, and everyday Thai life is easy to explore, and even easier to enjoy.

Ashish's 6 days trip to Phuket

Over all experience was OK. But telhere were 3 4 issue in the trip. 1. It was said by travel triangle agent khushi that your C fee has been waived off, but at the tillme of fimal payment she and the team denied completely. This was very bad from their side. 2. When it was asked to book hotels where Veg breakfast should be there but out of 3 hotels 2 hotels were not having veg breakfast.. only breads were there. 3. Travel agents have not informed about the security deposit in each hotels.. hotels have charged 2000 baht as security deposite. As checked with other customers in hotels they were not asked for deposits, as land package includes hotels also, so if there was any deposit then it should be included and informed in starting. 4. Why customer email id is not given for any updates.. our flight no. got changed and we were not informed about. This was very serious issue.. Trip was good. Enjoyed.. but it could be more better as more places could be covered as more leisure time was given.

Princes's 6 days trip to Phuket

The trip was very well executed in terms of punctuality and pick up and drop facilities. There was a specific issue I would like to highlight. The lunch provided from the boat operators during poda island tour and Phi phi island tours was absolutely not acceptable for vegetarians. They only had rice and salad for vegetarian eaters. This definitely needs improvement and thoughtfulness. Also for snorkelling there was no guidance provided from boat operators. It was only for people who knew how to swim. Sunset at Poda island
