  • During this time, the weather in Rajasthan is pleasant: you will be hot in the sun during the day, but it is cold at night!
  • An alternative time to plan your trip to Rajasthan is during the monsoon (mid June to September).
  • Rajasthan receives much less rain, after all, it is largely a desert, than other states in India, the crowds are less during this time and the prices are cheaper.
  • The weather tends to be cloudy and humid (and can be humid / hot), so it is true that if you focus on light blue skies, winter is your time to visit. For this duration you can book Rajasthan package from Delhi.

How To Reach Rajasthan?

By Rail

Most of Rajasthan is well connected to Delhi and other parts of northwestern India by rail. Jaipur, Jodhpur and Bikaner serve as the main centers of the train station, although it is also possible directly from Delhi to Jaisalmer by train (daily, 18 hours). Delhi to Jaipur takes 5-6 hours. The distances even within Rajasthan are still large to cover, for example, the train from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur is 8 hours, from Jaipur to Jodhpur, from 5 to 6 hours

By Road

Hiring a driver for some parts of the trip provides more flexibility and, depending on your budget, can be profitable if some people share shorter routes. Udaipur to Jodhpur has no train service, so many hire a driver for the 6-hour route, passing through the Jain temples in Ranakpur, or they can take the bus.

By Air

If you don’t want to spend too much hrs in train or bus then choose the air method to reach to the Rajasthan.

Ideal Duration

1 week is sufficient to see the major location of this state.

Prasadbhavsar's 3 days trip to Rajasthan

We recently had a trip to Udaipur arranged by your agency, and overall, it was a great experience. The accommodations, itinerary, and arrangements were well-planned, and we truly enjoyed exploring the city. However, one concern we faced was the frequent change of cab drivers. Each day, a new driver was assigned, which made it slightly inconvenient to adjust to different driving styles and explain our preferences repeatedly. It would be much better if a single driver could be assigned for the entire tour to ensure a smoother and more comfortable experience. We appreciate your service and look forward to traveling with you again. Jug mandir, fateh sagar lake and there street foods, Lake pichola, Kumbhalgadh, Rajasthani folk dances

My Rajasthan Trip (Jaipur-Kota-Udaipur ) from 10.01.2025 to 16.01.205. The experience is neutral. We visited Jaipur, Kota and Udaipur ,Pushkar with family. The reason is as follows 1. Jaipur hotel is OK but Upaipur Hotel is not good. The Hotel management is not professional in Upaipur. 2. The Pushkar Visit was worst. In Jeep Safari and Camel ride is totally fraud. The charged Rs.12500 for 45 min only Tourist may avoid Pushkar Jeep safari and camel ride.

Vishal's 5 days trip to Rajasthan

We recently chose services for first time from back to holidays for our trip to Rajasthan, and while there were some positive aspects, unfortunately, our overall experience was not as smooth as we had hoped. Issues with Driver and Vehicle The driver and vehicle provided were from Uttar Pradesh, not Rajasthan. As a result, the driver had no local knowledge, which caused significant delays and confusion. For instance, upon our arrival at Udaipur airport, it took 30-40 minutes for the driver to locate us, despite being at the airport gate. We were with six children and had to direct him over the phone repeatedly. Throughout the trip, the lack of local knowledge meant we had to rely on Google Maps to reach destinations. This consumed extra time and added unnecessary stress. Inaccuracies in Itinerary The itinerary mentioned an elephant ride near the Birla Temple, which was not there it was near amber fort and due to this details we missed that. This was a major disappointment, especially for the children who were looking forward to it. Sightseeing in Udaipur was poorly planned. For example: Jagdish Temple, listed for Day 2, should have been included on Day 1 as it is adjacent to Jagmandir Palace. Due to this misalignment, we had to waste time traveling across the city on Day 2, which resulted in skipping Fateh Sagar Lake and the Aquarium. Hotel Experiences Devi Palace, Udaipur: This hotel was excellent. The staff was extremely polite and helpful, providing detailed guidance for local sightseeing. The breakfast and meals were also outstanding. The Lighthouse, Jaipur: Unfortunately, this hotel did not meet expectations. The staff was rude, unresponsive to feedback, and the breakfast quality was subpar. We decided against having any meals here. What ever ratings we have given to the hotels are only to devi palace we consider poor rating to the light house. We enjoyed, our stay at Devi Palace, the overall experience was spoiled by the lack of local expertise, misinformation in the itinerary, and disappointing accommodations in Jaipur. We hope you consider this feedback to improve your services for future travelers.

Our Rajasthan Trip was good and Mohit's suggestion and planning was good where he accomodated Chittorgarh and Kumbhalgarh in our 8 days and 7 nights travel which other travel agents were reluctant and price was also competitive. All places in Rajasthan were memorable, Jaipur - Amer fort and Nahargarh fort, History of Chittorgarh, Meera temple, Udaipur palace and boating Fateh sagar lake, Kumbalgarh fort and shiv temple, Jodhpur Mehrangarh fort, Enjoyed jaisalmer desert camp the most with Jeep safari and camel ride the most, Visited Brahma temple in Pushkar and finally finishing with Hawa mahal, Jantar mantar ans shopping in Jaipur

Tips

  • Sunscreen: A hat or scarf is also recommended to protect the head from the sun, even in winter the sun is strong
  • Layers: Rajasthan can be very cold at night in winter; it can go down to 5 degrees Celsius at night in Jaipur in January! Bring a wool jacket, a warm sweater or a light coat that wrinkles with you.
  • Headlamp / flashlight: useful for camping and power outages.
  • Never forget to carry a first aid box and some essential medicines.
