  • An alternative time to plan your trip to Rajasthan is during the monsoon (mid June to September).
  • Rajasthan receives much less rain, after all, it is largely a desert, than other states in India, the crowds are less during this time and the prices are cheaper.

How To Reach Rajasthan?

By Rail

Most of Rajasthan is well connected to Delhi and other parts of northwestern India by rail. Jaipur, Jodhpur and Bikaner serve as the main centers of the train station, although it is also possible directly from Delhi to Jaisalmer by train (daily, 18 hours). Delhi to Jaipur takes 5-6 hours. The distances even within Rajasthan are still large to cover, for example, the train from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur is 8 hours, from Jaipur to Jodhpur, from 5 to 6 hours

By Road

Hiring a driver for some parts of the trip provides more flexibility and, depending on your budget, can be profitable if some people share shorter routes. Udaipur to Jodhpur has no train service, so many hire a driver for the 6-hour route, passing through the Jain temples in Ranakpur, or they can take the bus.

By Air

If you don’t want to spend too much hrs in train or bus then choose the air method to reach to the Rajasthan.

Ideal Duration

1 week is sufficient to see the major location of this state.

Thank you for organizing such a wonderful trip. I really appreciated all the care and effort that went into making it enjoyable! While the hotels in Jaisalmer and Jodhpur did not meet our expectations, the accommodations at the other locations were fantastic. Driver Mangilal Meena was excellent and provided a good guidance across the trip. Overall experience was excellent and memorable.

Monisha's 9 days trip to Rajasthan

Good day!! The trip was fabulous. We were so busy as this is the year-end and had lots of office work to complete, Planning a trip was unimaginable, but you made it so easy for us. Thank you so much! Pros: The hotels you booked for us were conveniently located within the city and easily accessible. Cons: Shiv Villa was not good. We experienced the worst treatment there. There was no doorbell, and when we requested a water bottle, the staff knocked on the door and tried to open it. But overall we enjoyed it to our core, and thank you much for that Preethi

Rakshit's 5 days trip to Rajasthan

Our recent 5-day, 4-night Rajasthan trip, planned by Kingsland Holidays through Travel Triangle, was a wonderful experience for me and my wife. Special thanks to Mohit and Rashika, who meticulously planned our itinerary, generated multiple quotes on request, and customized the trip perfectly to suit our needs. Highlights of the Trip: The itinerary was thoughtfully crafted, covering the majority of attractions in Jaipur and Udaipur. The hotels booked in both cities were above average, providing us with a comfortable stay. Room for Improvement: Unfortunately, the only downside of our trip was the assigned driver, Mr. Ladu Singh. While he was punctual and polite, his lack of communication left us uncertain at times. As tourists unfamiliar with the area, we relied on the driver for guidance on plans, timelines, and local insights. However, we had to proactively ask about what to do after each activity or event, and he didn’t provide much information or interact with us. We expected the driver to be more engaging and informative, helping us understand what to expect for the day or the next activity. This is especially important when booking through a travel agency, as we count on such support for a seamless experience. Overall, Kingsland Holidays did an excellent job with planning and execution, but improving the driver experience would make the trip truly exceptional.

Travel arrangements by Pragya were top notch. She handled everything very well. I appreciate her efforts in everything. The cab driver was good, did his job. Though he could have suggested some near by places or some good restaurants. Except some mishaps, overall trip went well and everyone enjoyed. So thanks to travel triangle and Pragya.
