Travel to Istanbul
The major Turkish city, Istanbul, is unique not only because of its literally age-old history, but also because of where it is situated. Istanbul location spreads evenly over two continents – Asia and Europe, with the Bosphorus Strait in between. The European side of Istanbul is much more popular as a tourist haunt than the Asian side. So, let’s find out how to reach Istanbul.
Istanbul has two airports. The main one is called Istanbul Ataturk Airport, which is located 24 km west of the city centre towards the Europe side. Ataturk has always been one of the busiest airports of Europe, being located at an important geographical junction. To relieve Ataturk from being overloaded with international traffic, Sabiha Gokcen Airport was opened in 2001 towards the southeast, in the Asian side. Flights to Istanbul from India mostly go to Ataturk airport, since the other one is less used for pleasure trips and more for business or diplomatic trips. From Ataturk airport, one can take Havatas – the airport shuttle service that leave every half an hour, or take the subway to Taksim Station where most of the hotels are changing cars at Otogar Station. The easiest but not so cheap option would be taking a cab. Depending on the time of the day and traffic, it should take you 30 minutes and cost you 50 TRY.
In case, you are flying from Asia, and want to know how to reach Istanbul from India, then, there is only one direct flight operating between India and Turkey, i.e. Turkish airlines that provides flights from Mumbai and Delhi. However, you can also board plane from other international airports like Etihad Airways, Oman Air and more, which have connecting flights to Istanbul.
The only company to have direct tickets from India to Istanbul is Turkish Airlines. There are two flights per day on every day of the week operated by Turkish airlines, one from Delhi and another from Mumbai. India to Istanbul flight duration for both the routes is 7 hours 5 minutes, which is the fastest one can travel between India and Turkey. If you do not live in Delhi or Mumbai, then there are connecting flights run by carriers like Emirates, Qatar Airways, Gulf Air and Etihad with reasonable flight duration. To get cheap flights to Istanbul from India, travel during the off seasons when there is lesser crowd. In case you are on a larger trip and are in any part of Western Europe, then there are more than one daily nonstop flight to Istanbul from cities like Paris, Brussels, Madrid, Munich, Lisbon and more.

Jigna's 8 days trip to IstanbulBest trip till now We came across Offbeat Trippers through Travel Triangle and they were the 3rd agent to be introduced to us. We were immediately convinced to proceed with our plans with them. We initially interacted with Prerna and she gave us possibly the beet combination to fit all our requirements within our expected itinerary. The suggestions and options given by her were keeping in mind what we wanted. We finalized the package with minimum fuss and were guided all through the way till the start of our trip. Just prior to the commencement of the trip we started discussing with Abhishek the finer details of the trip and he was constantly available during our travel with all the necessary updates. The Highlight of our trip was the Hot air Balloon Ride over Cappadocia. It has been a great experience to travel to turkey with Offbeat Trippers and we would definitely recommend them to our family and friends.

Romana's 7 days trip to IstanbulExcellent Trip Yes, the trip was good... Except following... 1. Hotel booking in Istanbul was far from Market and was in the slop 2. Baku city tour one day was ok... But 2nd day was Gobustan was a waste of time. 3. Cappadocia's guide of the Pupa tour was very good. Pamukkale's tour guide was just ok. Overall tour was good.. and as per the commitment

Drabani's 9 days trip to IstanbulMy family trip to Turkey w. e. f 28th Dec/2019 to 04.01.2020 customised by Travel Triangle indeed ended to our entire satisfaction except for the Mascara hotel ,Cappadocia which was earlier booked as a cave hotel was really not. However the services at the hotel were good. Also, the guide at Cappadocia did not take us to the unground city. I had foreign trips several times previously also customized by other travel agencies, like MMT, but in my opinion Travel Triangle is professionally more competent and prompt in their responses to customers as they complete all the formalities well in advance without giving any tension to the customers. I unhesitatingly recommend Travel Triangle to every one who opts to go for travel abroad. Well behaved people of Turkey, hotel services, hot air balloon ride at Cappadocia .
Surabhi's 8 days trip to IstanbulWe had a wonderful time in Turkey. Thanks to City of Sultans and Travel Triangle for preparing a suitable itinerary for us and guiding us properly at every instant. Right from the pickup from the airport to the city tours, flights and drop to the airport, we were assisted by friendly agents, guides and drivers who ensured a comfortable journey for us. Moreover, the price was also very reasonable and everything was managed very well by them. I'd absolutely recommend someone traveling to Turkey to opt for their services.

Saurav's 9 days trip to IstanbulWe had a great trip. It was very well planned and the overall experience was excellent. Pros: - The day tours were seamlessly planned. - Domestic flights were booked very well (evening/night flights) , it gave us time to explore the places more. - Hotels were all really good except palm hotel in Kusadasi. Locations of all the hotels were very near to the tourist areas or old city area. - Rajat was available throughout the tour over call, even though he was in India but not once we faced problems as such. - We covered so many cities, so many different locations. Cons: - The transfers from Airport could be made smoother, perhaps by making a WhatsApp group with the agency coming for the pickup. Since driver's number is not provided, it gets little difficult to spot the driver at the airport. Overall, I would like to say thanks to Rajat and his team but all the arrangements.
Richilcheng's 11 days trip to IstanbulGreat work is done by White Rabbit Holidays This is our very first time to Turkey. We have about ten days in December just before Christmas to travel. Due to our busy-working nature, I was looking for a tour operator that can suggest us an itinerary for us to travel across multiple cities visiting the top highlights, providing us with private transport between airports and hotels, as well as help us book daily tour with local guides so we get to better understand the culture and history of the places we've been. Abhishek help us plan an excellent 10 days itinerary travelling across four different cities: Istanbul, Cappadocia, Kuşadası and Antalya. The itinerary seems ambitious at first however, everything went as smoothly as Abhishek planned and organised. We are very impressed by Abhishek's high quality service - he is super responsive and patient for all the questions we have. Even during the trip, if we have anything unsure, he is there to provide confirmation and clarity. We highly recommend Abhishek and his service to other busy working couples/family who wants the convenience to get all travel logistics managed yet also having the flexibility to adjust your travel plan to your liking.
