The best time to visit New York is during the months of April to June, i.e. the spring season, when the temperature of the city is excellent for outdoor activities. As various parks of the city are in full bloom, one can cherish the natural beauty on a tour during this time. However, the autumn season is also the good time to visit New York.
January - early March
During the period of January to early March, the city experiences the season of winters, while the temperature hovers around minus 5 degree to 8 degree celsius. This period is close to an off season, when things are slightly starting to thaw in March. As people tend to leave the city and outsiders do not visit for holiday which leads to hotel rates and airfares getting cheaper. This is the cheapest time to travel to New York.

April - May:

September - October:

November - December:
