Adventure Activities Sydney

Sydney is visited for many reasons, and it caters to tourists of all types. There are simply so many things to do in Sydney that no one can ever have a bad time here.

Shopping in Sydney

One of the best things to do in Sydney is shopping. There are numerous malls, boutiques and street markets to choose from. The Westfield Warringah Mall, World Square Shopping Centre and Pitt Street Mall are perfect for window shopping, people watching and some actual retail shopping. To get your things at low prices, the place to go is DFO Homebush – a factory outlet for famous brands across Australia and some international as well.

Romantic Getaways

You will not hear many people say it, but Sydney is one of the best places for a honeymoon or a romantic getaway. There are many fun things to do in Sydney for couples. The Blue Mountains on the west, which gets its name from its blue-tinged escarpment is perfect for spending a day with your partner. You can also go wine-tasting and vineyard visiting at Hunter Valley or enjoy dinner at Blu Bar on 36 with a spectacular view of the Harbour, the Opera House and the entire city, sparkling like stars.

Here are the other amazing things to do in Sydney, Australia.

1. Walk from Bondi Beach to Coogee Beach

If an exciting thing to do comes for no price at all, why shouldn’t one do it? A coastal walk from Bondi Beach to Coogee Beach is one of the best things to do in Sydney for free. The walk takes 2-3 hours to complete. On the way, one can enjoy whale watching at Marks Park, snorkelling at Clovelly Beach or swim and surf at Mackenzie Point Beach.

2. BridgeClimb at Sydney Harbour Bridge

The Harbour Bridge of Sydney is one of the most visited attractions of Sydney. But it has an exciting activity to do as well. Visitors can take part in the BridgeClimb and go for the 3.5 hours climb up the outer arc of the 134 metre high bridge. It is perhaps the most exciting Sydney activities to do. There will be BridgeClimb guide all along to help the climbers. At the summit, one can have the most spectacular view of the whole city.

3. Cruise around Circular Quay

Taking a cruise around the Circular Quay and the Darling Harbour area is one of the best cheap things to do in Sydney. A trip on a public boat from the Quay to the Harbour takes around 4 US dollars. Price of the private ones depends on the services you want. The cruise trip offers excellent views of the Opera House and the rest of the harbourside area.

4. Pet animals at the Taronga Zoo

Other than the fun adventures like zoo train and Sky Safari, petting the animals at the Animal Encounters in Taronga Zoo is a very attractive feature. It is very rewarding to feed and pet the adorable animals up close.

5. Climb up the Sydney Tower Eye

The monumental spire of Sydney Tower Eye rising above the city’s skyline is also the place for a very fun thing to do in Sydney. One can take the elevator to the glass observatory at the topmost floor of the tallest tower in Sydney. The stunning view from down there might make you feel giddy – but it is absolutely worth it.

Absolutely loved the entire trip planned for us by FlyGoldfinch! Every step from itinerary planning, visa, customization of activities, Kruti, Komal and Gautam from the team were incredibly helpful. Having 24/7 help and service while actually in holiday destination was also super helpful. Couldn’t have asked for a better team to plan the holiday for us, highly recommend, looking forward to planning the next one with them as well! :)

Neeraj's 7 days trip to Sydney

Really satisfied with the trip! All the hotels provided had pretty good location. Rohit from Hubholiday was very active throughout all stages of the trip, right from planning the itinerary to the very end . We planned our entire itinerary during late hours and Rohit was happily available to receive calls during those odd hours mostly after 12 midnight! Execution was as good as the planning. These guys , Rohit and Prashant, were available for queries throughout the trip. They entertained even the last minute changes. Overall an excellent trip to a beautiful country!

Sachin's 10 days trip to Sydney

We did not like the arrangements at all. They could have been much better planned and executed if they would have thought about their customers even a bit. After hundreds of calls, messages and emails from my husband, the final vouchers were handed to us 8 hours before our flight.. we did not even have time to take a careful look at them.. The sightseeing tours were not selected thoughtfully. Most of the sightseeings were at max 1.5 hours long and repititive like the Skydeck in Melbourne, Skypoint in Gold coast, Harbour cruise in Sydney, etc.. and then the entire day was left free, which is good for some days but not all days which was the case with us. Better sightseeing tours should have been planned. We had to book several additional sightseeing tours on Viator.com so as to be able to experience Australia.. If we would have followed only the itinerary prepared by the agent, we wouldn't even have seen a Kangaroo or Koala Bear even after spending so much money and staying for 10 days in Australia.. It was evident that the cheapest of sightseeing tours available were booked for us, for example, the cruise in Sydney was an hour long and consisted of us just sitting on a ferry and seeing the harbour without anyone telling us what we are seeing.. It was a complete waste of time, we got much more information while riding on Ferries for our visit to the zoo that we booked separately.. No pickups from our Hotels were arranged even when complimentary pickups were available with the tours booked.. No directions were provided to us regarding where to reach and how.. No information on local transport available and how to travel was provided.. We know how Google Maps work and therefore got to the specified locations, however, any aged or not so tech savvy travellers would have missed their tours repeatedly.. It was a total chaos. On top of all that, this was my husband's birthday trip and he had told this to the agent several times, but they were not even courteous enough to book us a cake.. The agent wished a very Happy Birthday to my husband on Whatsapp though.. The rooms booked for us in Sydney didn't have complimentary breakfast and were so small that there was hardly any space to stand apart from the queen bed that was provided to the 2 of us.. The upgrades were available starting at just Rs. 1500 per night but they booked us the cheapest option so that they could pocket as much money as possible.. We felt cheated time and again during the entire trip. We will never travel with HubHolidays again and would suggest others too not to make that mistake..
