Ahmedabad to Bali Flights: Routes, Time and Distance

No airline flies non-stop from Ahmedabad to Bali, so every trip changes planes at least once. The best connection for most Ahmedabad travellers is Singapore. Singapore Airlines leaves Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (AMD) late at night, between about 10:20 pm and 11:05 pm depending on the season, and lands at Changi at 7:10 am. Several flights a day cover the 2 h 40 min hop to Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), about 13 km south of Denpasar. The straight-line distance from Ahmedabad to Bali is 5,824 km.

The Singapore routing works because of the clock. Bali runs 2 hours 30 minutes ahead of India, so a night in the air puts you in Bali by early afternoon with the evening free. Going home, the evening Singapore Airlines flight from Changi gets you back to Ahmedabad the same night.

Bali Visa on Arrival and Tourist Levy for Indians

Indian passport holders do not need a visa before they travel. You buy a visa on arrival at Ngurah Rai, or the same visa online as an e-VoA before you board, which skips the counter queue after an overnight journey. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from arrival, and immigration can ask to see your return flight booking.

July and August are the busiest months, so April, May and September give the same weather with fewer crowds.
