Being a mountainous area, there is no railway/ train station in Manali but one can board trains from Delhi to Pathankot or Jogindernagar. At a distance of 285 km and 126 km respectively, one can hail cabs from these stations to reach Manali’s city center.
By road-

Volvo buses constantly ply from Kashmere Gate and Anand Vihar Bus stands in Delhi and directly reach Manali in a span of 12 hours. The buses are A/C & non-A/C covering a distance of 552 km smoothly.
