How to Reach Dudhsagar Waterfalls in Goa

Dudhsagar Waterfall lies in the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary in Sanguem Taluka of South Goa. The waterfall is accessible both by road and train. However, it needs meticulous planning to figure out how to reach Dudhsagar Waterfalls.

By Train – The Dudhsagar Waterfalls cannot be reached directly. One need to board a train to Londa junction. And then, board a local train or bus or taxi to Kulem village in southeastern Goa, which is a gateway to the falls. Kulem Railway Station (QLM) of South Western Railway zone serves the nearest town from Dudhsagar Waterfall. Post reaching Londa junction, one needs to trek for 12 kms to reach the destination.

Also, Castle Rock Station in Karnataka provides a direct access to the falls. Get off the train at Kulem and hire a local taxi to reach the foot of the waterfall.

By Road – The best way to reach Dudhsagar Waterfalls is through opting for a road trip from Calangute. The drive is roughly 65 kilometres or around 90 minutes along the NH748. And, then, the exciting 11-km-long trek awaits those looking to admire the sights and sounds of jungle on foot.

Instead of trekking from Kulem, one can also opt for a road trip. Board a train or hire a car or luxury bus to reach Mollem village from Madgaon, covering the distance of 40 kms.
