Scuba diving in Goa is a very popular adventure activity of the state. This is the perfect opportunity for travelers who love the adrenaline rush of being underwater, exploring the colorful marine life and testing their swimming prowess. There are almost no riptide currents in the Goa waters, making it an absolutely safe place to enjoy scuba diving, even for novices. The best season for scuba diving in Goa is from October to April, with underwater visibility staying around 5-10 m. The water temperature in Goa remains around 27 to 30° C throughout the year, and the depth for scuba diving is from 3 to 30 m.
