Dharamshala in itself is an adventurous place, let us look at the places which make it more interesting and adventurous. 

Triund Trek - When we talk about Dharamshala, we sure cannot miss the popular Triund Trek. Located to the north of McLeodGanj & Dharamshala, it is often referred to as the crown jewel of Dharamshala. Trekkers can experience the glimpse of Kangra Valley on one side and Dhauladhar Mountains on the other. 

Kareri Lake Trek - the Kareri Lake is situated about 40 kilometers away in the north of Dharamshala. Green vegetation is visible throughout the route, and flora that is unique to the Himalayas. The trek begins from Ghera village and reaches this place. Ghera is easily reachable as road transport is available from Dharamshala to the village. From thereon, the trip takes about 8-9 hours to get to the lake. 

Kangra Valley - Kangra valley is famous for attracting visitors for its stunning beauty and scenery, and people love to come here and experience the beauty for themselves. The tourists are able to see the famous Masroor Rock cut temples that was constructed in the 8th Century and is a part of the Indo-Aryan School of architecture.

Galu Temple - Galu temple in itself is an adventurous place as the route to this temple is full of thrill. This is because of the fact that it is situated at the highest point at McLeodganj above Dharamkot.
