The most popular and most frequented treks in and near Dharamshala include the Triund Trek, trek to Indrahara Pass, Chamba Trek, the Dhauladhar Trek, Manimahesh Lake and Kareri Lake among others. All of these treks are ideal for experts as well as novices with good stamina. They are safe enough to enjoy, and are best completed within a couple of days so as not to exert yourself much. You can easily put up a tent at one of the campsites for the night. The feeling of walking across mountains, plunging into valleys and crossing treacherous bridges over raging rivers is one that is sure to fill you with a rush of adrenaline so intense that you would long to come back here again and again. 1) Triund Trek in Dharamshala

Triund is one of the most popular treks in Himachal. It starts from Mcleodganj and reaches the Triund Peak via Dharamkot and Galu Temple. It is located at an elevation of approximately 2,950 meters.
