About Parvati River In Kasol

Visit one of Kasol’s most famous tourist spots, the Parvati River where the pristine waters and the surrounding lush environs make for some scenic sights. This is one of Himachal’s most treasured natural spots and is supposed to have originated from the Mantalai glacier. The surrounding valley is also a scenic sight with snow-capped mountain peaks and crystal clear streams all around. The best time to visit this valley and river is from April to June when the weather is pleasant and cool and ideal for sightseeing tours and picnics.  

There is plenty to do at this scenic spot as you can go river rafting to get that adrenaline rush or just laze around and try trout fishing and angling. You will need special permissions from the forest department for fishing. For more adventure laden activities, head to the valley to go rock climbing and trekking. There are any famous trekking spots here like Chandrakhani pass, Kheerganga, Rashol, Pin Pass and Seosar. 

Enjoy a scenic trip to the beautiful hilly regions of Kasol and watch the natural splendor of Parvati River come alive. Avoid traveling here in the monsoons as there could be flash floods and in winters snowstorms are likely so make sure you check the weather conditions before traveling here.

(1)Hotel naggar delight was elegant and the staff very cordial but no heating provided in the room despite of very cold temperature. Food was good too.. (2) hotel chalo kasol had good rooms and staff...food was only just ok..approach road was very bad ( even the cab driver was unhappy with the road conditions) (3) hotelmajestic view ..very risky and dangerous approach road...we had to climb totally insecure and dangerous slope to enter tha hotel ( remember we are senior citizen and my Wife was aghast of the slope without any railing as she has knee and hip joint problems..so we decided to cut short our stay and check out a day earlier than planned.. Naggar cafe wool ..kasol riverside sitting are the best memories we carry
