Kasol is sometimes referred to as Mini Israel, due to the presence of several Israelis in the town, who end up staying more than a few weeks, if not months. Catering to their tastes, most of the cafés in the town of Kasol and nearby offer some great authentic dishes from Israel, perfected over the past several years to taste exactly how the Israeli population likes it.
