The Summer festival in Shimla commemorates both the beauty of this hill station as well as the advent of the summer season. Held at the Mall Road and the Ridge, this event highlights the local talent and culture of the people here. You will be able to watch various competitions and performances and witness a riot of colorful festivities. Come watch the unfolding of a wondrous celebrations at this ten day festival that takes place during May-June. You can travel to this Mall road and Ridge from anywhere in Shimla as they are centrally located. These bustling roads are best explored on foot so you can hire a taxi or private cab only till the roads and then walk it down. There are regular buses also from different parts of the city till the Mall Road and the Ridge as these are major tourist spots.
