and driver Raj Patyal was very good. Couple of minor issues.. 1. Kamna Hill Resort in Shima was exceptional in terms of hospitality, view and food but the location was not that great. The location is far from mall road and the road is also not good. Our driver was from shimla so he was able to understand the instructions from hotel reception otherwise it would have been a nightmare to reach this place. Even the driver was frustrated with the location of this hotel. 2. Snow Peak Retreat in Manali did have a balcony but there was no privacy or view. The balcony was facing the hotel. From the balcony we could only see other rooms and their balconies. There was no mountain view from the balcony. 3. While booking the package, travel agent Meenakshi had convinced me that cab will be from their company and not from any third party vendor but of course that was not true. One day before the start of the trip there was some confusion as to who exactly our driver will be. Initially one driver had called but later someone else told me that he will not be my driver. Then another person called. When I asked him his car number he said he will not come but his brother will come. Ultimately the mess was sorted out and luckily the driver who showed up turned out to be good and the trip went very well.
