Luxury and economic buses are available from New Delhi (570 km away) and nearby towns. There are roadways linking Kullu to Pathankot and Shimla as well. One may also choose to take a cab from Chandigarh which is 267 km away.

Raghunath Temple

Basheshwar Mahadev Temple

It is an 8th century stone temple located in the Kullu valley. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is built in the pyramidal style and houses a "Yoni-Lingam" representing Shiva and Parvati.

The Great Himalayan National Park

It is located in Kullu at an altitude between 1500 and 6000 meters. This park is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including 31 mammals, 9 amphibians, 181 birds, 11 annelids, 3 reptiles, 17 mollusks, and 127 insects. This park is protected by the Indian government and hunting is prohibited. It is a must-visit place for the nature lovers out there.

Parvati Valley

The valley starts from the confluence of the river Parvati and Beas and runs eastwards. It is a part of the Indian hippie trail.
