Friendship Peak is a marvelous mountain which is located at Pir Pinjal range in Kullu, Himachal. The beautiful district of Kullu has many major attractions, but this peak with an altitude of five thousand two hundred and eighty-nine meters above the sea level is a spellbinding destination that has snow all the time. People need to take the route through Dhundi and Beas Kund.
It is also known as the trekker’s heaven because the trek expedition passes through the mesmerizing Solang Valley. The narrow and steep climbs make the trek more adventurous and one actually loves the zeal while trekking, especially with friends. One thing that needs to be known by the people who are opting to trek is that it is quite steep and hence needs a little preparation on the fitness part.
It is only at a distance of eighteen kilometers from Manali and hence is an easily accessible place. If one is planning to hit this panoramic location, the best time to visit is during the months of May, June, September, and October. It comes along with challenges as the altitude is high and the mountain is steep. Once the traveler reaches the Friendship Peak, the whole view is really beautiful and mesmerizing. It is open seven days a week. However, one may plan to visit between nine in the morning to five in the evening.

One needs to trek uphill till Bakarthach after which there are base-camps of the Friendship Peak.
