The five-day trek passes through Sainj River Valley and one can stay at Shakti Trekker’s Camp. This trek is an awesome rejuvenation with dense forests, walnut trees, and medicinal herbs.
The entrance to the park is by permit and authorities charge an extra amount for video cameras. Also, to visit the core zones, one needs to take permission from the head office. However, one should only plan to visit in the months of March, April, May, June, September, October and November. This is the best time to travel to the park as it mostly rains during Monsoon. One may also plan to travel in the month of December to enjoy a low altitude trek. Cold nights can also prove to be equally thrilling and exciting.
