How To Reach Bhagamandala

Bhagamandala is well connected by all the three major means of transport from various cities. The nearest domestic airport is Mysore which is a 4 hour drive from Bhagamandala and the nearest international airport is Bengaluru.

It has a fair connectivity of railways as well. One can get down at the Hassan Railway station which is very well connected to other major cities of India to head towards Bhagamandala. The place has a very good network of roads. If taking the road, Bhagamandala is just a 30 kilometres drive from Coorg. Bhagamandala to Madikeri is also 35 kms by road. The Bhagamandala bus stop is near the attraction, buses ply to and fro during the day, travelers can choose this mode of commuting for a hassle free journey. Taxis and cabs are pocket-friendly and comfortable options for all the tourists looking forward to reach Bhagamandala.

Timings: Bhagamandala has no specific timings to visit, travelers can choose any hour of the day to travel. However famous tourists attractions do have time boundations. The Harangi Dam is open from 8:00 AM till 6:00 PM, the Padi Igguthappa Temple allows pilgrims to visit the place from 5:30 AM to 7:00 PM. the most celebrated temple, the Bhagandeshwara temple is closed after 6:00 PM and reopens at 6:00 AM.

    Overall it went well but not as expected. Started with a delay of cab driver for 1.30 hour and couldn't cover the most of the places because of that. Driver was not able to guide us properly due to which we reached the spots but they were closed because of lack of proper communication.

    hotel location is not as expected, it was long away from the hill station, since we were new to the place and unaware of the location, the Traveller should have guided us with the locations (climate, ambience) etc, this was not happened, should improve, we have also had a choice to cancel the curren
