Pahalgam is a quaint hill town located in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Although it is a small town, it is well-connected to most parts of India by road, air, and rail. There are no direct routes from Delhi to Pahalgam. If you are looking forward to traveling from Delhi to Pahalgam, you will have to change the means of transportation. The distance from Delhi to Pahalgam is 797.4 km which can be covered in a duration of almost 17 h by road through a personal vehicle.

Delhi To Pahalgam by Flight: The aerial distance from Delhi to Pahalgam is 624 km which is covered in a time of 4 hrs 18 min. There are no direct flights from Delhi to Pahalgam. To travel from Delhi to Pahalgam by air, you have to take a flight from Delhi (DEL) to Srinagar (SXR), and then take a taxi from Srinagar to Pahalgam. You can reach Srinagar from Delhi by bus and then take a bus from Srinagar to Pahalgam.

The distance between Pahalgam and Jammu is nearly 157 kilometers. Take Upon reaching the station, you can either take a taxi or private cab to reach Pahalgam. Some of the trains that ply between Jammu and Delhi are Uttar Sampark Rajdhani, Jammu Rajdhani, and Jhelum Express. If you wish to travel to Pahalgam by road from New Delhi, you can hire a four-wheeler or SUV for the same. The ride will be a scenic one, as you will come across various beautiful spots along the way. The distance between Delhi to Pahalgam by road is 813.6 km which can be covered in a duration of 16 h 31 m.

By Bus: There is/are no direct bus(es) from Delhi to Pahalgam. The alternative way to reach is to take a flight from New Delhi (DEL) to Srinagar (SXR). Then take a State Transport Bus from Srinagar to Pahalgam. The total duration will be around 7 h 05 m with an expense of approx. Rs. 3503.

Carry ₹7,000–₹10,000 cash per person for sightseeing. These tips can help ensure a smoother experience in Kashmir.
