How To Reach Rock Climbing And Rappelling In Munnar

Rock climbing and rappelling are two of the most adventurous activities you can try in Munnar on a holiday here. Rock climbing is widespread all over Munnar and there are numerous places where you can try it. One such place is the Tea Valley Resort that is situated in Pothamedu.

Nature enthusiasts will love visiting this resort as it lies in the middle of a tea estate. Stroll around the tea plantations before you go rappelling in Munnar and sip on a delicious cup of tea. 

This tea resort is approximately 105 kilometers from the Cochin International Airport, around 106 kilometers from the Aluva Railway Station and about 125 kilometers away from the Ernakulam Junction (South) Railway Station. It is easy to get direct buses and cabs from these points till the tea resort to try your hand at rock climbing.

The rock climbing prices start from INR 500/- per person here and it is best to book in advance to avoid any extra charges.

    Hotel could have been better in thekkady. Though a very good hotel but we were given smallest room as they had full occupancy. It was extremely suffocting because we were with our child. The room had no window. We requested for room change and next day we got much better room. However for an entire
    day we had to survive in that small room though we paid full. Hence wud not recommend that hotel Elephant ride and elephant rain in thekkady. Also loved allepey hotel
