How to Reach Kurisumala Ashram in Vagamon

By Air: The nearest airport to Kurisumala Ashram is located in Kochi in Kerala which is around 120 km away from the destination. There are regular buses and taxis operable to cover this distance. Both the taxis and buses drop tourists at the Vazhikkadavu Bus Stop which is just 1.5 kilometers away from the ashram. One can either hire a taxi again from here or opt for a 20-minute uphill walk to the ashram.

By Rail: Kurisumala Ashram is located around 60 kilometers away from the Kottayam railway station. From here, one can easily opt for a bus from the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation bus station which is located 2 km away from the railway station. There are two options from there - either one can get a bus to Vagamon or to Vazhikkadavu Bus Stop. One can hire a taxi or walk from the bus stop.
