For those wondering how to reach Pookode Lake, the best thing to do is to hire a taxi to take you to the entry point for the attraction. Currently there are no public transport options that take you to the entry point, but there are local buses available that drop you off at a point not too far from the Pookode lake, from where you can either walk or take an auto. Depending upon where you are traveling from, you can easily take an auto to bring you to the lake. Alternatively you can also drive your own vehicle to this place, since the roads are fairly well maintained.

Driver was funny friendly and goes with the rules.. Only issue was the food..which was not in the itenary.. I will delegate food availability also to travel triangle next time.. Munnar..
