How to Reach Spots for Trekking in Kalladi Forest in Wayanad

Kerala is well connected to the World through all means. Two International Airports one at Thiruvananthapuram and the other at Kochi   can mark the beginning of your adventurous journey. The domestic airport nearest to Wayanad is Kozhikode. Other airports that are in range of 200-300 km include Mysore, Cochin, Calicut, Kannur(upcoming), Coimbatore and Bangalore.

Although located on the Southernmost tip of the Deccan Plateau, the Kalladi forest in Wayanad  are easily accessible. If you want to enjoy the Indian Railways the nearest junction is at Kozhikode. From the station there is three hour journey by road to Wayanad. All major stations of the nation provide a direct access to Kozhikode. Kerala in itself has around 81 railway stations.

If you love long drives and want to travel by road you can enter into the state through any of the National Highways Number 17,47, and 49.

The Chembra Peak allures trekkers by being the highest peak in the region. When your legs start tiring your eyes behold a stunning heart shaped lake taking  your breath away. You have to trek for almost two hours to vision the heart in the heart of the state.

When in Kerala how can we forget the big illustrious tea estates? One such estate is the Priyadrashini tea estate. They grow, cultivate process the tea leaves to give you best in the cup. Apart from the tea factory they also have tea museum, organic farms and products, natural ponds, herbal gardens. All this in turn provides the best Nature Walk rather besides being just an adventure trek trip.

I recently availed a travel package from 7C Destination - Ranjith helped us book the package, and while most of the experience was positive, there were a few drawbacks that I would like to highlight. Positives: Cab Driver: Sudhish, our cab driver, was exceptional. He was not only professional but also incredibly helpful and down-to-earth, making our journey smooth and enjoyable. Hotels: The hotels included in the package were excellent, providing great comfort and hospitality. Negatives: Houseboat Experience: Unfortunately, the houseboat experience was a major letdown. Not a single sightseeing activity was covered during the houseboat trip. The houseboat remained docked in a village where the crew seemed to be engaged in other work. Before the trip, we were promised a village tour, an optional powerboat ride, and then a return for a night stay. However, the crew moved at a very slow pace, and we ended up spending the night in the same village without fulfilling the promised activities. To make matters worse, we were dropped off early the next morning without any sightseeing. I hope 7C Destination takes these concerns seriously to ensure a better experience for future travelers.

Everything was going gud but in the last day of my trip our driver dailed call to his company and the another person talked to us and his behaviour was very rude and loud that made a disappointement to us .
