Wildlife Park in Langkawi, Malaysia

The Langkawi Wildlife Park and Bird Paradise covers an approximate area of 5.5 acres, and is based upon the ambience of a tropical rainforest. As of today, it houses over 2,500 exotic birds ranging within 150 species like canaries, owls, flamingos and many more from all around the globe. This is the first such park in Asia of its kind. The walkways and the walking trails are covered and roofed in a way to avoid rain and sunlight to enter the park, so that you can enjoy the park to the fullest.

The main highlight of the park which attracts a lot of visitors is the Walk-in-aviary where you can find a large number of colorful love birds or the Budgerigars who fly freely. If you have purchased the food packets and you have the mullet seeds, you can have a great experience having the birds sitting on your palms and hands, around 5 birds at a time as they are totally fearless. Other sections of the park include a walk by the astounding orchid garden full of white and vibrant orchids, a Mammals sections where you can witness many types of animals like rabbits, racoons, guinea pigs etc. A 15 feet man-made waterfall is situated next to the aviary where you can click pictures together. Also go and explore the mouse-deer section inside the park too.
