The falls is located about 27 km south of the capital city Port Louis. One can follow the M2 highway to reach the waterfall. The Tamarind Falls in Mauritius is made up of eleven waterfalls and natural pools. They are called as the ‘Sept Cascades’ and is also known as one of the natural wonders of the island country of Mauritius. Tourists can find the untouched nature of the rainforest and tropical scenery on the way to a trip to the Tamarind Falls in Mauritius. Colorful native birds can be found in these dense forests.
