About Pinjore Garden in Chandigarh

Pinjore Garden is one of the most scenic attractions of the tri-city of Chandigarh-Panchkula-Zirakpur. It is the best place to visit for tourists who are looking for peace and tranquility during their trip to Chandigarh.

Situated just 23 kilometers from the city centre of Chandigarh, Pinjore Garden is located in the city of Panchkula. Built during the 17th century, this garden was laid down on the lines of Shalimar and Nishat Gardens of Kashmir. It was renamed Yadavindra Gardens after Maharaja Yadavindra Singh, the last ruler of Patiala.

Adorning more than 100 acres of land, Pinjore Garden Chandigarh, is home to a mini zoo, an extensive plant nursery, a Japanese garden, magnificent palaces, and lush green picnic lawns. It is a perfect place for a weekend outing with family and friends. One can relax and rejuvenate amidst the serene surroundings of the gardens. yeah the trip was excellent .the planning part with the help of travel agent was best. The cab driver was also good but did tried to skip few local places tough. travel triangle was very responsive and helpfull. U can surely book through them. there were some glitches overall trip was good.

It was a wonderful experience touring with one of Travel Triangle's associated Tour Operator "Wild Lotus". the services were great. Special thanks to the Tour Manager Rakesh Gilly for being so cooperative. He has been always there for any assistance. The Hotels were as commited just had to compromise a bit with food at some hotels. Hotels provided at Shimla & Dharamshala were the best anyone can get at this price. Hotels at Manali, Dalhousie & Amritsar were also fair enough if compared to the price they charged. Even the car which was provided for local transport was new & in good condition as promised by Rakesh Gilly. The driver was very humble, professional & deciplined. The itenerary was very well planned by Rakesh Gilly & covered almost every tourist spot. In all it was a great experience & from now Wild Lotus will be my preferred tour operator when it comes to touring North India. Thanks again Rakesh Gilly.

Overall trip was good. They followed whatever mentioned in the package. Only thing is we felt that the driver was not properly briefed. For the first day we reached Chandigarh very late hence we had to take dinner on the way other than from the booked hotel. This expense has been agreed and allowed to deduct. Appreciate for that. The hotel at Chandigarh was fine. But hotel at Amritsar was not that much standard one. Plus the dining area was not good place. Food was very good in both places. Car driver is very good. driving was perfect. But there was no space at all in this Innova to keep the luggage. we struggled to accommodate and had to keep in the seats. We all came from different places hence all were having luggage. Overall it is very good.
