About Padmini Palace in Chittorgarh

Padmini Palace is one of the best places to visit in Chittorgarh. Its history dates back to the 19th century. The palace consists of a three-story building that is colored white. As per folklore, it is said that this was the residing place of Rani Padmini who was the wife of Maharana Rattan Singh. Many legends boast the bewildering beauty of Rani Padmini. It is said that her beauty won many hearts. One of which was of Alauddin who challenged to win over Chittor and Maharana Rattan Singh to make Rani Padmini his queen. The Padmini Palace, Chittorgarh is open for visiting from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. One can visit this historic palace on any day since it remains open for all days.
