Camel Safari in Jaisalmer is a must do when in the city, since it is located right in the heart of the much famed Thar Desert. A safari in to the wild, beyond of one of the largest deserts of the world, and that too on camel back, is one of the best experiences that the state of Rajasthan can offer you. The packages for camel safari in Jaisalmer might take you to different starting points, based on what sort of an experience you wish to have. Some of the most famous starting points offered in such a Jaisalmer camel safari package include Sam Sand Dunes, Sand Sun Dunes and Khuri Village.

These starting points can be reached pretty easily, since the city is located within the Thar Desert. The roads to where the sand dunes are located are well maintained and are constantly being swept to keep the sands off them. If you take a package then pick up and drop from your hotel will be arranged, otherwise you can hire a taxi to take you there. Currently, there are no buses, shared transfers or auto rickshaws that take passengers to the sand dunes.

The best thing happened is the drivers in the jodpur, who resolved the messed up plan by the travel agent. Hotel Sia Resorts changed and we have been changed to different resort,which was older property. The daywise plan made by the travel agent was absurd and created lot of confusion.

Sidhu (Being Musafir) was a great person for planning the trip in Rajasthan to Agra and Delhi (final drop off at the airport). We did a trip in Rajasthan, Agra and Delhi which was organised by Sidhu. Only once we had issues with the hotel, and after informing Sidhu, he re-booked us to a five star hotel instantly. It was a dream come true! Everyday, Sidhu used to call and inquire, of any issues we are having. And the driver+car provided by Sidhu for the trip, was just what we wanted for the trip! The Driver (Rakesh) never said "no" to any of our requests. He gave us all the right suggestions, being a local in Rajasthan, which also helped us very much. We could not have asked for more from Sidhu and Rakesh.
