How to Reach Rao Jodha Desert Park in Jodhpur

Pay a visit to the epitome of natural diversity at the Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park in Jodhpur where you will get to see a variety of native species. You will love taking a stroll across this 72-hectare park that will take you right up to the city walls, that lie around Devkund Lake. Spot butterflies, local birds, and reptiles on these walking trails and learn all about the flora species here. This park also happens to lie at the foot of the iconic structure of the Mehrangarh Fort, that is one of Jodhpur’s most happening tourist hotspots.

If you are planning to visit both this park and the fort and are wondering how to reach Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park, then read on. If you are traveling by rail, take a train to the Jodhpur Railway station from where you will easily get cabs or taxis to this park. For those flying into the city, the nearest airport is Jodhpur Airport (6 km) from where you can easily get shared cabs to the Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park.

    The best thing happened is the drivers in the jodpur, who resolved the messed up plan by the travel agent. Hotel Sia Resorts changed and we have been changed to different resort,which was older property. The daywise plan made by the travel agent was absurd and created lot of confusion.

The accommodations, itinerary, and arrangements were well-planned, and we truly enjoyed exploring the city. However, one concern we faced was the frequent change of cab drivers. Each day, a new driver
    was assigned, which made it slightly inconvenient to adjust to different driving styles and explain our preferences repeatedly. It would be much better if a single driver could be assigned for the entire tour to ensure a smoother and more comfortable experience.
