Dilwara Temple In Mount Abu

Dilwara Temple or Dilwara Jain Temple in Mount Abu is a major attraction for tourists and locals.

It is located a little more than 2.5 kilometers away from the city center. Constructed by Vastapul Tejpal, these temples were built between the 11th and the 13th centuries. They are world famous for the marble used in their construction, and the amazing detailed designing that is done on them.

History of Dilwara Temple

While talking about the history of Dilwara Temple, it is believed that this sacred pilgrimage site for the Jains is dedicated to Lord Rishabha. Built by Chalukya Dynasty in between the 11th and 13th century, it comprises five temples, including Vimal Vasahi, Luna Vasahi, Mahavir Swami, Pithalhar, and Parshvanath. All five of these temples are devoted to five Jain saints, and they have beautiful idols inside them. As the temple is surrounded by hills, and there was no conveyance to transport marble blocks to the hill at that time, it is believed that elephants were used to transfer marbles from Arasuri hills to Mount Abu.

Awati's 6 days trip to Mount Abu

The owner of the travel company that we travelled with is a person who doesn't even know how to talk with their customers. Firstly our travel agent was Preeti agarwal and when we called her to raise some complaints she was not even able to accept them and then the owner started talking to us. Who is such a egotistic person with no sense of talking to customers.

Gurunathan's 3 days trip to Mount Abu

The hotels in general were not at a three star level except for Shani Vilas in Ranthambore. The hotel in Agra did not even have hot water. The initial room provided in Delhi's metro view was very bad and we had to request for a change. The toilet flush was not working, the bathroom door did not have a latch, the door was broken etc. Please ensure that the right level of hotels are provided.

Mozhiarasu's 5 days trip to Mount Abu

The best thing happened is the drivers in the jodpur, who resolved the messed up plan by the travel agent. Hotel Sia Resorts changed and we have been changed to different resort, which was older property. The daywise plan made by the travel agent was absurd and created lot of confusion.

We have booked a tour to Rajasthan through Trip Sailor.com. The accommodation given was really good, the itinerary was nicely curated. But the driver was not up to the mark, he was driving very rashly. The driver as a person was good, he listened to us whenever we asked for anything but road awareness and road safety is important for a tourist driver. Other than that everything was really nice and smooth. It was a hassle free trip to Rajasthan. We really liked your service. Thankyou Sandeep from Trip Sailor.Com City Palace Jaipur was magnificent

Shraddha's 6 days trip to Mount Abu

We recently had an incredible trip to Rajasthan planned through Back to Holidays, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. A special thanks to Preeti from their team, who organized everything flawlessly. From the beginning, Preeti guided us with great recommendations, especially when it came to hotels. She assured us to trust her choices, and we are so glad we did! The hotels were amazing, with excellent rooms, great service, and delicious food. The vehicle arranged for our travel was comfortable, and our driver was extremely polite and professional. Throughout the trip, Preeti was always available whenever we needed any assistance, making sure everything went smoothly. The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the desert camp. It was an unforgettable experience, and we are so thankful to Preeti for recommending it. Everything about it was perfect, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. I traveled with my family(with 2.5 year old and senior citizen), and we all absolutely loved the entire journey. My parents were especially happy and had a wonderful time without a single complaint. This trip was a truly memorable one, and we highly recommend Preeti from Back to Holidays for a well-planned, stress-free vacation. Thank you, Preeti, and the team for making this trip so special!

Rajatsharma's 5 days trip to Mount Abu

Hi Back to Holidays Team, We have planned a trip this month to Rajasthan and your Executive Ms. Preeti Sharma has helped us a lot and planned our trip smoothly. The hotels suggested by her in a very cost-centric way and the properties are also good. Even during our trip, she has helped us on call and managed the things. I sincerely want to thank her for support and guidance.
