Pushkar which is also known as the “rose garden of the Rajasthan” is the major tourist attraction in Rajasthan. This place is known for its intellect and culture. This place is 140 km away from Jaipur and is famous for pilgrimage and history. The local people believe that once a lotus is dropped from Lord Brahma in this place and from that lotus a lake was created in the city. This lake is coined as Puskar by Lord Brahma, and from the lake, the country also got its name as Pushkar. Many of the tourists have come to this place for its famous Brahma Temple. Apart from the pilgrimage, another attraction of the city is the "Pushkar Camel fair" which is generally taken place in the month of November. Apart from those two places, there are many other places in the Pushkar which not only attract the pilgrims only rather those places become a tourist hotspot for young travellers and photographers also. Some of those places are the Ranji temple, Savitri temple, Pushkar lake and many more. By Air

The city Pushkar by air you must check the Pushkar nearest airport. In the Rajasthan, the nearest airport to the Pushkar is in Jaipur. This is 140 km away from the city Pushkar and can make the connection between the metropolitan cities of India like Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai. Hence if you are planning a trip for Pushkar, you can check Jaipur airport, and from the airport, you can book local cabs. This journey might take nearly 3 hours from Jaipur to Pushkar. From Delhi, there are three common airlines which are setting off for Jaipur, and among them, the Spicejet and Indigo are the fastest. Spicejet takes only 55 minutes from Delhi to arrive Jaipur whereas in the Air India generally takes more than 1hour to arrive in the Jaipur airport. The price rates of that airline are ranges from Rs/- 3000 to 18000 hence if you are willing to reach the city as fast as possible.

By Train

The nearest railway station to Pushkar is located in Ajmer. It is 30 minutes away from the Pushkar and connected with the megacities like Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, Jaipur, Bhopal and Bangalore. From the Ajmer station, there are many of the local cabs and buses which can take you to the pilgrimage city - Pushkar. In the train, the travelling fares are also less than the flights. Again in the train journey, the tourists can also see beautiful sight scenes during the entire journey. Hence if any travelers have the rush to reach Pushkar, then they can choose the railway to travel.

We booked a 6 days and 5 nights trip to Rajasthan from MY OWN JOURNEY Except on day 1 , Hotels provided are good enough room size are big However for rest of the days there was no confirmation from travel agent which hotel to stay. Note: we booked the package almost 3 months prior to trip. Still on

travel day there was no assurance where we will be staying. TRAVEL AGENT SHOULD HAVE PROVIDE CONFIRMATION IN ADVANCE Otherwise hotel stay was good. Vehicle / driver - vehicle we hot is clean and in very good condition. However I felt the driver little bit arrogant In one instance, he refused to dropped us at restaurants for dinner and we have few seniors citizens with us moreover the restaurant was hardly within 1km range So that thing I didn't like. Overall the trip went well Thanks My Own Journey team.
