About Singapore Discovery Centre in Singapore

Singapore Discovery Centre (SDC) is an interesting integration of education and entertainment, hence known as “edutainment” centre in the country. It is a tourist attraction located in Jurong West in Singapore. This is a one-stop destination to know about the history, present and the future of Singapore. This is an all in one destination comprising of an art gallery and a science museum. This centre showcases the entire journey of Singapore in the visual form. Interactive quizzes are also held to engage visitors and help them discover facts about Singapore.

There are other galleries as well that showcases armed forces of Singapore, mini theatres that show the different personalities of Singaporeans and their everyday life and tactics. There is also a large playground for children to play and a huge display of aircraft outside the centre.

So Singapore Theatre shows you the various aspects of being a Singaporean. It shows the benefits of being a Singaporean and the common traits, bonds and experiences that they share. SAFTI bus tour takes you on a ride to the training ground of officers where you will get to know about the Singapore’s navy, armed forces, and airforce. Enjoy playing games at portals and refurbish your knowledge about the development of Singapore as a country. It will enrich you with the principles that helped Singapore grow as a nation. The XD theatre at the Singapore Discovery Centre takes you on a 4D simulation ride that will give you goosebumps. Enter the crisis zone at the Crisis Timescope exhibit where you can participate with the crisis team to protect Singapore from any disaster or bomb blast.

If you love dancing and have interest in beats and rhythm, then you can try out different dance forms of Singaporeans at the Digital dance studio. Discover the history and future of Singapore in the most innovative and vivid way through a wall of wonders which is a 30 meters long wall showcasing the history and future of vibrant Singapore. At the visionarium design studio, you can give your own ideas and techniques to make Singapore a better country to live in, after which your ideas will be displayed on the 360-degree screen.

The arrangements regarding stay, conveyance and sight seeing were very seamless and we didn't face any issues during our stay. Ground teams at Singapore were very co oper
    ative. However, the Malaysian teams, were little late in contacting . However would suggest that more details could be added on the route and areas to visit in a particular sight seeing spot for more comfortable stay. The Local Singapore City tour was not great. Like to thank Ms Anjali Gupta and Mr. Sheel  for their prompt response and help whenever needed.
