Situated along the Spiti River, Kaza is the sub-divisional headquarters of Spiti Valley. Divided into two parts-Kaza Khas and Kaza Soma, the town of Kaza is the largest town and commercial centre in the entire valley.
Surrounded by brunette mountain ridges on all sides, the town of Kaza is home to the administrative buildings of the Valley.
