Located in the Bagalkot district of Karnataka, Badami is surrounded by a valley of rugged red sandstone. Formerly known as Vatapi, the town holds major archaeological importance due to its stunning carvings, amazing sandstone cave temples, and incredible fortresses.

Explore a combination of North Indian and South Indian style of architecture in the Hindu Temples as well as the Jain Temple in Badami Caves. Composed of four caves, the site was constructed in the late 6th or 7th century. Carved from sandstone, the temples are dedicated to different deities. By Air
