Siddharth's 4 days trip to Sri Lanka

We had a really nice Sri Lanka trip covering Srigirya, Trincomalee, Kandy and Nuwara Eliya. The hotels were amazing for both nights at Cinnamon group. While the driver, Mr Sisira Kumar drove well, promptly showed up everyday, there were issues following our planned itinerary. He did not want to show us places and insisted repeatedly that he was having to work long hours (especially on our last day where we travelled from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya and then to Colombo). He did not wish to follow our itinerary and wanted to drop us in Colombo directly from Kandy. We had to call the travel agent and align the driver with our plans. Additionally, while the itinerary was suggested by the tour company, each morning we had to inform the driver about the day's itinerary, instead of him telling us. Overall, the trip was good except for these minor issues with the driver. I wish the travel company clearly communicates the itinerary with their drivers and asks them to be proactive.

I'm very glad i chose Hellow Travels for my 9D/8N (28th Dec 2019 - 5th Jan 2020) family trip to Srilanka. Mr. Dhanuka Prasad is a very knowledgeable and friendly person. He was available 24x7 round the clock and helped me a great deal in finalizing my itinerary, getting me ETA(visa) and clarifying any doubts i had. I was travelling with my parents (60+ yo) and an infant (3yo) and hence i specially asked Dhanuka to provide me with a very caring driver. He totally did his 100% in this matter. We were allotted a Tourist board approved Chauffeur Mr. Ahamad who is GEM of a person! We felt very safe with him all through the tour and he went out of his way to help us all through the trip especially in getting good deals at sightseeing/activities and finding decent indian restaurants for lunch and dinner. He also very punctual and made sure we covered the entire itinerary and a few extra sightseeing places too! We visited Colombo, Pinnawala, Sigiriya, Trincomalee, Dambulla, Kandy, Kitugala Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Galle, Bentota. The White water rafting at Kitugala, water sports at Bentota, Zipline at Ella were highlights of the tour. Mr Dhanuka booked very good hotels offering breath taking views from the hotel rooms/windows and a very tasty breakfast in a decent budget. He even managed to get 6 train tickets for us on the Nanu oya - Ella train which was a beautiful train ride offering amazing views of tea plantations and waterfalls. This was the first international trip to 4 of my family members and Mr. Dhanuka really made it a memorable one for them. I would 100% recommend Hellow Travels to any one planning to visit Sri Lanka without a second thought. Thank you Mr. Ahamad and Dhanuka from Hellow Travels for everything and i wish you all the best in your future endeavors. Lastly, at the time of booking the tour, travel triangle executive informed me that they will contact me everyday during the tour for any feedback/assistance which never happened! So it would have been good on their part if they really kept up their promise.

This was our first international tour. Traveldek Executive Mr.Fiyaz assisted us very good in respect to every need from the first day of contact till few days before the journey. Due to his personal reasons even if the cab details and Driver number was forwarded to me 1hr before my departure from my country. The cab was nice and the driver was helpful. As the driver was unaware of the details of the tour contract, the problem started from the second morning. However, the driver make it up quickly. We were not even greeted with water bottle at our arrival at Colombo. Not even a single person keep contact with us as we proceeded. The hotels are good and they were really good in services also. Food from the hotels were very tasty, healthy and fresh. They were safe and secure for foreigners. We could come to know about Srilanka in hands with Traveldek in a good manner. The service grade might have to improve. The agents must be in touch with the clients atleast when it is asked so. Hope they should flourish in this service sector with more professional attitude. Should provide a good guide who really eager to share information and really knowledgeable. The hotel Skandig, Trincomalee,Amaya lake.

Brian's 9 days trip to Sri Lanka

BoomLanka Travels was awesome. On Time pickup. The driver who came with us, Mr. Dankan was very well experienced and very well behaved. We had a package of 8 nights and 9 days, traveling across SriLanka ( Colombo, Trincomalee, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Yala, Bentota) Not once he drove rash. The hotels were very good. The Ramboda Falls hotel was bit noisy since they were under some kind of renovation and the white villa resort didn’t have many tv channels to watch. Fifa World Cup was not telecasted in that resort. Otherwise everything was great. Before confirming the package I changed the package around 8 or 9 times. Not once they hesitated. Thank you Boomlanka for arranging this wonderful trip.

The operator was more concerned about milage rather than showing the places. I had to skip Ravana's cave. There were hesitation to take me to Sita's Agni Pariksha place. I mentioned that it was only 10 kms away from Botanical Garden and then I was taken there. The hotel in Trincomalee was about to charge for my dinner, which was supposed to be part of the package. After my explaining they provided dinner. At Kandy, the cultural dance show was free as per itinerary but i had to pay SLK rupee 3000/-
