Trip to NainitalConsidering it an Off-season tour, the quoted amount should have been a bit less. Otherwise every thing as per contact was there. Agents should be fully aware of the geography and the map of the region. Hotel and stay at Almora was very good.Hospitality of the Patroskhan ( in stead of Ranikhet) Hotel was very good though it was nearly 30 km away from Ranokhet proper.

However each and every programme went through smoothly. Miss.Sandhya was indeed very co-operative . All the hotels were perfect, Breakfast and Dinner very tasty and hygienic. Room service of all hotels, location etc. was really good . No doubt we will again take your services for other locations but fully recommended to all our friends. All the best. The road condition between Delhi and Nainital is quite good. The total distance is 299 km from Delhi to Nainital which can be easily covered in 6 to 7 hours. There are various steep curves on the hilly road where you need to be extra cautious.
It is safe to drive from Delhi to Nainital at night till Kathgodam but beyond that area the road becomes steep and terrain area starts so it is quite risky to drive there at night especially when you are not habitual of driving on hills.
Ranikhet Express, Sampark Kranti, and Kathgodam Shatabdi Express are the two trains that run between Delhi to Nainital. Kathgodam Shatabdi Express takes around 5 hours 20 minutes to cover the distance of 282 km and Ranikhet Express takes around 7 hours to complete the distance of 277 km.
To travel from Mumbai to Nainital, you may board the ADI SJ Rajdhani train to the Kathgodam Station. And, book a vehicle to reach the centre of the Nainital hill station.
Travelers can enjoy snowfall in Nainital between last week of December and mid-February.
