Things To Do On A 7 Day Romantic Trip To Himachal
Day 2: Riding Like Kings Into The Hamlet Of Kufri
The next morning, we had breakfast in Shimla and left for the charming village town of Kufri. Just at the starting point of Kufri, we rented a horse and rode all the way to Fun World Kufri entertainment park. Needless to say, our son was thrilled to bits by seeing a place filled with amusement rides. After taking some rides at Fun World, we had lunch in Kufri and returned to Shimla for some sightseeing.
We began with a visit to Jakhu temple and then covered beautiful places to visit in Shimla like Lakkad Bazaar, Wax Museum, The Ridge, and Mall Road. That evening got a whole lot better after some of my friends paid us a visit in Shimla. We spent our entire evening at the Mall Road shopping, dining, and having fun.
Day 3: The Green Mountains, Scenic Rivers,& Beautiful Villages
The next morning, we checked out from Shimla and left for Manali at 7 am. On our way, we stopped for a while in Kullu at Pandoh Dam. After clicking some pictures and enjoying the scenery, we proceeded to our next stop- Manikaran Gurudwara.
Later on, we also visited the touristy village of Kasol. Like others, we were also mesmerized by the beauty of this small rustic haven for hippies. With the backdrop of mountains and the Parvati river streaming in full flow, Kasol was easily the most beautiful place we saw on our family trip to Himachal Pradesh. After having an early dinner in Kasol, we left for Manali and arrived at The Rioso Resort at 11 pm

Day 4: A Surprise Candlelight Dinner That Made An Evening Romantic!
Post breakfast, we got ready for a visit to Rohtang Pass and Solang Valley. Although we didn’t do any adventure sport in Solang Valley, we just went for a quad bike ride in Solang Valley. We clicked a lot of pictures in the snow at Rohtang Pass. It was a special moment for our son as he was seeing snow for the very first time.
After we returned from our excursion, we got a very pleasant surprise from the hotel staff and the agent as our room was upgraded to a honeymoon suite and we were given a complimentary romantic candle light dinner. This kind gesture from the hotel really made our trip memorable.
