In addition, there is a new ropeway in operation these days that will take you directly to the temple, from The Ridge. The Hanuman Statue at Jakhu Temple is visible from kilometres away. The two-way journey is likely to cost nearly INR 500 for a person, so make sure that you are carrying enough cash to cover the expenses for a comfortable ride. For children, the cost of the two-way journey is likely to be less, nearly INR 400 or so. Each ropeway coach will take only six travelers. One way trips, for less, are also available.
