About Chail in Solan

About Chail’s history, it was founded by Maharaja Bhupinder Singh, the king of Patiala province, while eloping with the daughter of the then British commander-in-chief, Lord Kitchner when he aimed to have an even better and greater summer capital than Shimla. With no dearth of beautiful places to explore, this captivating destination offers everything you ask for. The former summer capital of Patiala, now is one of the primary reasons for Chail Himachal Pradesh tourism.
