How To Reach Aruvikkuzhi Waterfall?

Aruvikkuzhi waterfalls is a major tourist destination, visited by locals and tourists alike. A picnic spot that is fun for the entire family, this waterfall is located almost 18 km away from the town of Kottayam. Falling from a height of more than a 100 mts, the waterfalls make for a very pretty sight indeed. Ideal for those looking to get away from the hustle bustle of the normal city life.

If wondering how to reach Aruvikkuzhi waterfalls in Kumarakom, then the best way is via the road, especially if you are in Kottayam or other similar nearby destinations. People can take either a taxi or drive their own vehicle to reach this place. The roads are well maintained and there are several taxis easily available to take you to the destination. Cars for hire can also be used, but the cars would have to be hired from Kochi or other major cities of the state. There are currently no bus routes that ply from Kottayam or other nearby destinations to take you to the Aruvikkuzhi waterfalls.

The best and the shortest route to get to the Aruvikkuzhi waterfalls is via the NH183 and the Oravackal Koorali Road. It takes nearly 40 minutes to reach Aruvikkuzhi waterfalls from the beautiful town of Kottayam, covering a distance of a little more than 19 km. It is an amazing place to spend some time, so make sure that you take a couple of hours out of your Kerala tour itinerary to visit the Aruvikkuzhi waterfalls.

I recently availed a travel package from 7C Destination - Ranjith helped us book the package, and while most of the experience was positive, there were a few drawbacks that I would like to highlight. Positives: Cab Driver: Sudhish, our cab driver, was exceptional. He was not only professional but also incredibly helpful and down-to-earth, making our journey smooth and enjoyable. Hotels: The hotels included in the package were excellent, providing great comfort and hospitality. Negatives: Houseboat Experience: Unfortunately, the houseboat experience was a major letdown. Not a single sightseeing activity was covered during the houseboat trip. The houseboat remained docked in a village where the crew seemed to be engaged in other work. Before the trip, we were promised a village tour, an optional powerboat ride, and then a return for a night stay. However, the crew moved at a very slow pace, and we ended up spending the night in the same village without fulfilling the promised activities. To make matters worse, we were dropped off early the next morning without any sightseeing. I hope 7C Destination takes these concerns seriously to ensure a better experience for future travelers.

Everything was going gud but in the last day of my trip our driver dailed call to his company and the another person talked to us and his behaviour was very rude and loud that made a disappointement to us .
